It’s easy to embed Youtube videos, Hulu videos, Scribd documents and other contents in a WordPress page or post without using any special plugins. All you need to do is insert the URL to the content and make sure it’s on its own line (rather than embedded in a line of text). When your page is displayed, the content will be displayed on it (you might have seen this famous cat on Youtube):

You can find a list of the content types that are supported on this WordPress Codex page. For this to work properly, you need to make sure Auto-embed is checked on the Media settings page as shown here (and that you’re using WordPress 2.9 or greater for your site):
